Christopher Hunt

Christopher Hunt is a graduate of the Queen’s University School of Music, and of the University of Reading, England. He has been an instructor in the Mohawk College Music Program since it started in 1977, and has been coordinator of the Music Department since September 2004. In addition, he teaches conducting, harmony, musical analysis, music history and performance practice. As a church musician, he has served congregations in the Anglican, Presbyterian and United Churches, and is a delegate to the National Council of the Royal Canadian College of Organists. He is active in the community as a speaker on musical topics, and his articles have appeared in music magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.
