Worship at First-Pilgrim

Our worship begins with a coffee and fellowship time.  Everyone is welcome to join us in Central Room any time after 10 in the morning.

The church service starts at 10:30 am.  We are an open and inclusive congregation; our worship seeks to reflect that.  Our worship is semi-formal but our dress is casual.  While we tend to follow the lectionary we enjoy bringing in contemporary themes and issues. Rev. Jane is our principal worship leader but we encourage lay participation in worship.

Music is an important part of our service. Our choir of dedicated folks, under the direction of Christopher Hunt, continually inspire and provide excellent musical leadership.  Thanks to Chris Hunt, we also have several guest musicians throughout the year.

Currently we do not have a regular Sunday School or Children's Time however we are child friendly and provide a play area for children who want to move around a little during worship time.  As we continue to attract new members, we look forward to more and more young people on a Sunday morning.
